Ridley Pearson is the Edgar-nominated author of over sixty novels including two New York Times #1 bestsellers. His works for younger readers include Kingdom Keepers for Disney Books, a middle-grade thriller series following a group of friends as they try to save the Disney theme parks, and Peter and the Starcatchers, a prequel to J.M. Barry’s Peter Pan. Co-written with humorist Dave Barry, the novel was adapted for Broadway where it won five Tony Awards.

Pearson’s suspense thrillers have won him international acclaim, awards, and multiple appearances on best seller lists including the New York Times. Research for his novel, Undercurrents, assisted police and federal law enforcement in solving three murders.

His novel Diary of Ellen Rimbauer was filmed as an ABC TV movie special event.

A Fulbright fellow, Ridley taught creative writing at Fudan University in Shanghai, China and at Boise State University. co-wrote 10 novels, including Peter and the Starcatchers) when the two were recruited into an all-author rock-and roll band created to raise funds to support 1st Amendment causes. The band has remained together, playing for 33 years and raising over 3.5 million dollars for non-profits.  Members include Stephen King, Amy Tan, Scott Turow and Mitch Albom.
